Michael Phelps continued his race to the eight gold after winning yesterday with the U.S. 4x100 meters relay test the free Games in Beijing with a new world record of 3:08:24.
Phelps was the hero of his team in the last relay to win by little to Frenchman Alain Bernard and give victory to the United States, even though Europeans arrived with a very comfortable contrast to the last relay.
