AS Roma midfielder Amantino Mancini is moving to Inter Milan. Roma said that they reached an agreement with Inter that will allow the transfer of Mancini. "It wasn't easy but in the end we reached an agreement, therefore we're all happy," Inter market director Gabriele Oriali said. The transfer price was expected to be €13 million. Mancini is expected to earn €3.5 million a season for 4 years. The signing of Mancini should help ease the pain of Inter not getting Frank Lampard from Chelsea. Lampard has said he would like to go but Chelsea has no plans to sell him. They have already rejected an £8 million bid from Inter.
In other Italian Series news, Francesco Totti is trying to get fit for the Soccer Betting Italian Super Cup. The AS Roma captain is recovering from knee surgery. "The Super Cup is important but we cannot risk Francesco's health.
