AC Milan now has a number of stars that should give them a good chance in Serie A action this year. Ronaldinho joins Ricky Kaka, Alexandre Pato and Nelson Dida. "It's very pleasing to find so many Brazilians here but also a lot of champions wear the Milan shirt." Ronaldinho said.

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is happy to have Ronaldinho with the team and is looking forward to improving the team from last year’s disappointing fifth place finish in Serie A. "The important thing is to have quality players and Ronaldinho is without doubt one of those," Ancelotti said. The combination of Ronaldinho with Kaka should make AC Milan very potent upfront. "We will play with a 4-3-2-1 formation. It's a model that has worked well for us and brought us great satisfaction. It's our trademark and it will be again this year, with or without Ronaldinho. Our only objective is to win playing good football. This is Milan," he added. AC Milan is not used to missing out on the Champions League and fans wanted immediate action. "We start the season wanting to improve; being out of the Soccer Betting Champions League is hard to take, therefore we will do everything to return there as soon as possible." Ancelotti said.

Fans of AC Milan have reacted positively to the arrival of Ronaldinho. The club’s website has reported they have received 10 times more activity than normal. Over 5,000 season tickets were sold on Wednesday when Ronaldinho arrived in Milan. About 4,000 fans greeted Ronaldinho when he arrived in Milan.

Ronaldinho will also be allowed by Milan to play for Brazil in the upcoming Olympics. "We respect the commitment he took before coming to Milan. If he had already been a Rossoneri he would not have gone but he will become ours during the week so we will let him go to the Olympics," Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani said.
