Nadal injured his right knee and left the game against Russian Nikolay Davydenko after losing the first set 6-1. Federer even went to the stadium by pain in his back and gave his duel versus James Blake (USA.).
Nadal received a long massage in the right thigh when they lost 4-1 to try to loosen the muscles around the knee, but was unable to start the second set.
The favorite of the tournament and the first world ranquin felt pain in his knee during the week, but said that worsened friday morning.
