Cavaliers vs Magic odds: Game 4 Tuesday, May 26 at 8:35 p.m. ET
NBA odds: Cavaliers -1
As dominant as the Cavs looked in their back-to-back sweep victories over rounds one and two, there’s no point reminiscing, as they’ve been soundly outplayed in this series. LeBron has been his usual All-World self but the help hasn’t been there for him. Delonte West has been cold and Mo Williams has been colder, to the tune of sub-33-per cent shooting in every game so far this basketball betting series.
Like LeBron, Dwight Howard has been his usual self for the most part, but the key to Orlando’s success has been its hot, hot shooting. Rashard Lewis has shot 50 per cent or better from three-point land in every game this series, while Hedo Turkoglu has been hot too. The Cavs got into massive foul trouble in Game 3, with 34 fouls, and Turkoglu in particular made them pay, draining 11 of 12 shots from the line. In total, the Magic got to the line a whopping 52 times, hitting 39 shots and essentially making it impossible for the Cavs to win.
Don’t write the Cavs off at the online sports book just yet. You know that (a) they won’t foul the Magic that many times in a game again, (b) West and Williams have nowhere to go but up for Cleveland and (c) Lewis and Turkoglu have nowhere to go but down for Orlando. The Cavs were a 67-win team and are still too good to fall behind 3-1 in this series. They’ll win a tight one and take this intriguing NBA odds matchup back to Cleveland tied 2-2.
