Well, at least he admits that he doesn't get it and could just be out of touch. And yes, maybe he is just an idiot. Heck, even Jim Rome went 5 minutes talking to Lalas without bashing the sport. Anyway, the only reason I posted this is because it has been a while since I have heard some ESPN personality with the usual soccer bashing. It is encouraging to see less and less of it as we approach the World Cup. I am used to seeing the typical analyst "explain" soccer to people. Instead, I am seeing analysts discuss who is going to start. We have made wonderful progress my friends...
