The Williams sisters are measured for the fourth time in the history of U.S. Open

The sisters Venus and Serena Williams will be measured on Wednesday in a key match in the Open Tennis USA, which will be the fourth between the two duel in the history of the tournament, a tradition at this stage or special dish in the letter in Flushing Meadows.

The Williams account for 15 Grand Slam titles and four U.S. Open, and on Wednesday will define one of the tickets to the semifinals of the last major tournament of the season.

If the forecasts of some malicious not fail, should Venus Williams beat her sister Serena when confronted in the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open.

Those who bet on this asset will argue that thus the largest of the sisters equate the account number of Grand Slam titles won.

Serena steals eight scrolls adults: Three in the Australia Open (2003, 2005, 2007), one at Roland Garros (2002), two at Wimbledon (2002, 2003) and two U.S. Open (1999, 2002).

Venus, one year more, was titled five times in the cathedral of tennis, Wimbledon (2000, 2001, 2005, 2007, 2008) and two in the walkway in Flushing Meadows (2000, 2001).

Some suspicious minds think that the sisters take turns to win in the tournament. If so, then it's up to Serena take the prize in this Open New Yorker, because this year and was titled Venus at Wimbledon.

"If I had a sister who were not so good, then I could win easily, but she is very good, and is playing well," said Venus.

Serena won the tournament fast track in Bangalore (India), and two months ago Venus took revenge in the finals of Wimbledon (7-5, 6-4).

"We always say that going to win the least wrong, we know a lot, and every one knows what to expect from the other," said Serena.

Another factor is that the smallest of the sisters could become the world number one if you win the Open Flushing Meadows, following the collapse of the current tenant of the plaza in this contest, serbia Ana Ivanovic.

"For now I do not think about that. Only I think my next opponent will be someone who is called Venus Williams, and that's what worries me," confessed Serena.

Both sisters have won just over $ 20 million each since they became professional, Venus and Serena in 1994, one year later.

Much of those revenues have come from the U.S. Open, especially those that generate advertising contracts before, during and after the tournament.

Winning the U.S. Open is also an issue for them business.

In breaks from tennis, Venus serves its interior design company "V Starr Interiors" and its line of designer clothes, called elevators.

Serena spends his spare time to surpevisar and give ideas to its own brand of clothing, aneroid (his name upside down), which already is sold in exclusive boutiques in New York and Los Angeles.

Winning the Grand Slam last year in New York for Williams is more than lifting the Champions Cup or enter the cheque of a million dollars in its accounts.

This is turning into a gateway Flushing Meadows where 'fashion' and tennis go hand in hand, the real secret of success of the Mark Williams.

Kevin Keegan Out at Newcastle

SBG Global Reports are that Kevin Keegan is out as manager of Newcastle United following a meeting with the club’s directors on Tuesday. Keegan was reportedly unhappy ownership was not willing to do much in the transfer market and wanted out. Last week James Milner was sold to Aston Villa even though Keegan wanted him to stay.

The transfer issue really came to a head a few weeks ago when Dennis Wise took over as Executive Director at Newcastle. Since that time the team has been unable to sign any big names and Keegan was upset at the lack of action. Keegan was welcomed back at Newcastle with open arms in January after Sam Allardyce was fired. Keegan first coached Newcastle in 1992 and did quite well at the helm. He resigned in 1997 and went on to manage Fulham, England and Manchester City.

Fans of Newcastle are not happy with Keegan leaving. They were heard to be chanting 'sack the board' on Tuesday. Security guards had to force the fans to leave but obviously tensions are high surrounding the departure of the popular Keegan. Many fans are voicing displeasure at Dennis Wise and Mike Ashley.

Newcastle sits in 11th place in the Premier League standings with four points in three games.

In other Premier League news, Liverpool striker Fernando Torres is expected to miss the next two to three weeks, dealing Liverpool a major setback as they get ready to host Manchester United next weekend. Torres hurt his hamstring in the scoreless draw at Aston Villa on Sunday. “Fernando is one of the best players in the world and obviously he will be a huge loss to us. But at Villa we handled the loss well. We re-grouped and showed tremendous team spirit, Liverpool’s Dirk Kuyt said, "It is something we will have to do against United if Fernando does not make it."

Torres is also expected to miss Spain's opening World Cup qualifiers. Spain plays Bosnia on Sept. 6th in Murcia and Armenia on Sept. 10th in Albacete.

Torres might also be in question for the start of the Champions League group stage. Liverpool plays at Marseille on Sept. 16th in group play.

Yankees not very well

The New York Yankees, despite their payroll of $ 200 million, continued to fall layer cede this sunday before the Blue Jays 6-2 in game of the Major Leagues.

The right star Roy Halladay (17-9) continued its mysterious grip on the ninth of the Big Apple since stepping down foja before New Yorkers in this campaign 4-1 in their favour.

Halladay spread indisputable eight with two runs in seven efficient episodes.

The Canadian squad gave Halladay enough offensive support, which was home run from third baseman Scott Rolen, simple tug from Vernon Wells and double producer of Mexican Rod Barajas.

The affected was left-handed pitcher Andy Pettitte (13-11), who could provide little in this day to Yankees, who can not seem to go to the play offs for the first time in 14 years.

For the Yankee connected home runs four corners of the Dominican Alex Rodriguez and Jason Giambi initially.

The "Mulan" (72-64), que han ido to the postseason for 13 consecutive years, were now 12 games behind the momentarily "Ray" Tampa Bay, leaders of the Division of the American League East, where is one month's campaign.

Manchester City takes Robinho against all odds

Robinho is going to Manchester City. When nobody was waiting for him, the English club appeared by surprise in the negotiations and was advanced to Chelsea to take the Brazilian striker, welcomed sold by Real Madrid.

"Following the directions of the coach (Bernd Schuster), the sports director (Pedja Mijatovic) and technical secretary (Miguel Angel Portugal) have reached an agreement handover. It is a consensus decision, the better for the group, "said Ramon Calderon, president of Real Madrid, the Channel I television.

It has been three months since the end of the last Spanish league and many teams have waited until the last minute today to close their templates, coinciding with the deadline for registering players. And Real Madrid was one of them.

"There will be neither high nor low," proclaimed Ramon Calderon, president of Real Madrid, last night. But only half the truth was not bought, but it sold.

The Manchester City has new owners, Abu Dhabi, United Arab group, which has a lot of money. And what we put on the table Real Madrid was a briefcase with 42 million euros (61.3 million dollars), much more than they gave Chelsea. "It is the fourth largest transfer in the history of football," Calderon is boasted.

Robinho accepted because his head was out of Real Madrid, in any team before the white, and because the Manchester City will pay six million euros (8.7 billion dollars) in five seasons.

Wagner Ribeiro, representative, smiled broadly, thus bagging a committee close to four million euros (5.8 billion dollars).

And Real Madrid? Its leaders applauded because Spaniards also took a good money for a player who does not appreciate and also be a team that is not seen as a competition, as it is Chelsea.

To complete the picture of reactions, only needed to ask Bernd Schuster, white technician, who requested reinforcements, but eventually left most of the players who entered.

Real Madrid bought only the Dutch Rafael van der Vaart and instead handed over to Julio Baptista and Robinho. In other words, White joined the club a lot more money than was spent, something unprecedented in the centennial history of the entity.

But it would also be uncertain state that Real Madrid made no attempt to sound an appointment during the day. In fact, the club reached blank bid about 60 billion euros (87.6 billion dollars) by the Valencia striker David Villa.

In addition, the club had been targeted to Villa willing to pay six million euros ($ 8.7 million) for each of the planned five seasons, twice what they earn in Valencia.

But Valencia did not relented. It seemed logical, just days after the club had extended the contract of the player, with presentation of the contract in a press conference.

Given that Villa remained in the city, Valencia agreed to cede the Serbian striker Nikola Zigic to Racing Santander. In addition, he sent the French goalkeeper Butelle to Lille.

The Betis starred some interesting movements. For example, card to the Spanish international Sergio García, who wanted to leave the Saragossa, Second Division. The latter team also sold to the Argentine Diego Milito at Genoa Italian.

The Betis made another move to sell the Brazilian international Rafael Sobis to Al Jazeera, the Arab Emirates. With this money chips to Sergio García. In addition, Nano ceded to the central Valladolid.

Meanwhile, Espanyol drew little choice but to sales from Pablo Zabaleta and Albert Riera, and tokens to Irish side Steve Finnan, from Liverpool.

In addition, Malaga also joined the Spanish international Albert Luque, with whom Ajax did not have.
