People often forget how much luck has to do with it when it comes to the World Cup (read: Donovan's goal against Portugal, non-call on O'Brien's handball against Mexico, S. Korea scoring late against Portugal, Portugal hitting the post against S. Korea). We were lucky to advance particularly after this less than stellar performance against the Polish side.
